# The setup wizard The first time you sign in to a brand-new workspace, Clarify walks you through five quick steps. You can skip most of them and come back later through [Settings](https://clarify.net.au/settings). ## Step 1: Welcome A quick overview of what's ahead. Click **Get started**. ## Step 2: Choose your plan Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Your card is collected now, but the first charge only happens when the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then. During the trial every feature is unlocked, on a sample of your history: your most recent 500 comments (up to 14 days) per account, with a 750,000-token AI allowance. When your subscription starts, your full plan history imports automatically. If you'd rather start straight away, tick **Skip the trial**: you're charged today and your full history imports as soon as you connect your accounts. The plan comes before connecting a Page so Clarify knows your tier when it loads your history. ## Step 3: Connect your accounts Click **Connect Facebook Page** and log in with a Facebook account that administers your Page. You will be shown the Pages you manage; tick the ones you want and confirm. You can also connect TikTok and Threads from here; Instagram comes in automatically with its linked Facebook Page, so just tick it in the picker when you connect Facebook. You can **Skip for now**, but nothing syncs until an account is connected. ## Step 4: Set up AI This step teaches the AI who it is working for. Everything here is optional and editable later in [Settings > AI](https://clarify.net.au/settings/ai). - **About this workspace.** A sentence or two of context, for example: "Bass federal MP in Tasmania. Focus on local infrastructure, health, and community issues." This is used as background in every classification and reply. - **Voice examples.** Paste a speech, press release, or social post so the AI can match your writing style when it drafts replies. Add as many as you like. - **Community guidelines.** Click **Generate with AI** and Clarify drafts published rules for your Page based on your context. Edit them to taste. We recommend pinning them as a post so your audience can see the standard you moderate against. - **Media listening.** On the Pro and Agency plans (and during your trial), set the names you want watched in the news. Click **Suggest with AI** to have Clarify propose terms from your workspace details, then add or remove any. When you save this step, listening switches on and starts watching Google News for you. ## Step 5: Preferences The last step sets two things: - **Time zone.** Used so scheduled posts and timestamps show in your local time. Clarify pre-fills this from your browser. - **AI checks.** Choose which extra checks run during each scan. All three are on by default: - **Image classification.** Comments that are images get reviewed by AI vision. - **Reaction analysis.** Fetches the like, love, haha, wow, sad, and angry counts per comment. - **Post categorisation.** Groups your posts by topic for the dashboard chart. Turning a check off saves AI usage against your monthly allowance. You can change these any time in [Settings > AI](https://clarify.net.au/settings/ai). When you finish, you land on your [dashboard](https://clarify.net.au/), and if a Page is connected the first scan is already underway.
