In the works

  • Threads. Connect a Threads account to moderate replies and publish, for every workspace. Built and tested, waiting on Meta's review.
  • Tag accounts properly on each network. Tag people on an Instagram photo, invite a collaborator so the post appears on their profile too, and mention a Facebook Page with a real link. Built, waiting on Meta's review of the Page mentions feature.
  • X and Bluesky for everyone. Both are running in early workspaces now and open up once the first real connections have settled.

v1.2.0 Latest

Hashtags, Bluesky, guides, and release notes you can read

Hashtags that take care of themselves when you post, Bluesky for early workspaces, and this page.

New

  • Hashtags in the composer. Add hashtags to a post, press Suggest hashtags for ideas drawn from your post text, or add a saved set with one click. Choose whether they go in the caption or in the first comment, the usual Instagram approach that keeps the caption clean.
  • Hashtag sets. Workspace owners can save named sets of hashtags in Settings → Publishing, and mark one as the default for every new post.
  • Bluesky. Early workspaces can connect a Bluesky account to sync and moderate replies and publish from the composer.
  • Guides. Four long-form guides on the public site: threat monitoring, bot network detection, reporting, and what to do about a pile-on.
  • What's new. This page. Each release is written up here in plain language, and a New marker appears in the app menu whenever there is something you haven't read yet.
  • Version in the sidebar. The version you are running is shown at the bottom of the menu, so support can tell straight away what you have.

Improved

  • Instagram hashtag limit. The composer counts the hashtags you type in the text as well as the ones you add, warns before you hit Instagram's limit of thirty, and will not schedule a post over it.
  • X audience growth. Daily follower counts for X join the audience chart.
  • Bluesky and X logins refresh one at a time per account, so a busy sync can no longer trip over itself.
v1.1.3

Audience growth, X, video covers and a sharper reply

Follower tracking, X for early workspaces, a custom cover on scheduled videos, and a reply you can refine in your own words.

New

  • Audience growth. Follower counts tracked daily for every connected account, with a card on the Publishing Dash.
  • X. Early workspaces can connect an X account to sync and moderate replies, hide them, and publish from the composer, metered in X credits with top-up packs on the Billing page. Everyone else sees it as coming soon.
  • Video covers. Choose a cover image for a scheduled video; it becomes the Facebook thumbnail and the Instagram Reel cover.
  • Refine a reply. Tell the AI what to change about a drafted reply in your own words, and undo it if you prefer the earlier version.
  • Audience pages. Who Clarify is for, with a video on each page, on the public site.
  • A 404 page with a small clear-the-queue game.

Improved

  • Instagram and Threads images are slimmed before publishing so Meta can fetch them in time.
  • Retry runs on the server, so closing the page can no longer cut a retry off part way.
  • Terms and Privacy. A safety and reporting disclaimer, the ABN, and a separate, optional marketing opt-in at sign-up.
v1.1.2

Sign in with Microsoft, Google or Apple, case reports, and Ask Clarify rebuilt

Easier sign-in, evidence-backed case reports, a far better Ask Clarify, and posts that mix photos and video.

New

  • Sign in with Microsoft, Google or Apple. Use your work or personal account to sign in, and stay signed in.
  • Case reports. A case now builds a timestamped PDF with citations, activity charts and a version history, ready for the platform, the police or the eSafety Commissioner.
  • Ask Clarify, rebuilt. It now searches your comments, posts, accounts and cases the way an analyst would, shows its working, keeps conversations, and can write a morning brief.
  • Coordination receipts. Each coordination group shows the receipts a reviewer can open, instead of a paragraph of repeated sentences.
  • Photos plus a video in one post. Instagram gets a carousel; Facebook and TikTok let you pick which half they send.
  • TikTok photo posts with a music picker from TikTok's commercial library.
  • Solution pages and a new explainer video on the public site.

Improved

  • Large videos. Uploads up to 1 GB, and slow Instagram or Threads videos finish from one saved container instead of starting over.
  • Ask Clarify fits a phone, and composer media can be reordered.
  • Schedule. Posts can no longer be dragged into the past.
  • Carousels wait for every image to be ready before publishing.
v1.1.1

Commenter photos, coordination detection, page types and a security pass

Faces on the accounts you track, a detection engine for accounts acting together, and a round of hardening ahead of the beta.

New

  • Commenter photos. Profile pictures on comments, in the Threat Log and in the Account Tracker, ringed in the category colour.
  • Coordination detection. Clarify looks for accounts reacting to each other, one person behind several accounts, and dense clusters of linked activity, then groups them with the evidence attached.
  • Page types. Each workspace chooses whether it is a politician, a small business, a creator or a community organisation, and the AI reads every comment with that in mind.
  • Yearly billing at ten months' price, and promotion codes at checkout.
  • Welcome email. New accounts get a welcome and onboarding email once their address is confirmed.
  • Card backdrops. Photo, video and preset backgrounds for digital cards, with an opacity slider.
  • Pause an account. Stop syncing a single account from Settings → Platforms without disconnecting it.

Improved

  • Account Tracker sorts by most comments, recent activity or newest, and opens an account in the stream.
  • Posts file themselves once their last outstanding comment is handled.
  • Weekly digest carries more of what happened.
  • Steadier syncs. Clarify backs off before Meta's rate limits bite, and surfaces collab posts whose comments Facebook will not serve.
  • Plans. Upgrades charge the exact difference now; downgrades wait for renewal. Prices are now A$75, A$149 and A$299.
  • Security. A strict content policy on every page, hardened fetches of outside links, rate limits on sign-in, a public cookie policy, and terms acceptance at registration.
v1.1.0

The Social Stream, guided tours and a steadier sync

A calmer queue, a tour of every area for new team members, and quicker ways to act on a threat.

New

  • Social Stream. The comment queue is now the Social Stream, showing moderated comments by default with a chip to filter them out.
  • Teach me. A guided tour of every area, started from the page itself or the Set up checklist, with a switch to turn tours off once you know your way around.
  • Set up checklist. A single page that walks a new workspace through connecting accounts, choosing a plan and the first scan.
  • Fix spelling and grammar. One button on every reply box.

Improved

  • Threats on the dashboard. Hide, track or open a case straight from the threat row once it is reviewed, on phone as well as desktop.
  • Bulk hide runs in the background and tells you when it is done.
  • Reviews. Regenerate or rewrite a held reply or post with AI before approving it.
  • Publishing. Retry a failed delivery or first comment with one click; insights refresh daily.
  • Dashboard card. A mini QR code for your digital card, tap to expand.
  • Large images are scaled before publishing.
  • Same-platform accounts. When two accounts are on the same platform, every screen says which one it means.
v1.0.3

Ask Clarify, review workflows, TikTok and an installable app

Questions answered from your own comments, a proper approval flow for replies and posts, and Clarify on your phone's home screen.

New

  • Ask Clarify. Ask a question about your audience in plain language and get an answer drawn from your own comments and posts.
  • Review requests. Send a comment to a teammate to handle, or send a drafted reply or post for approval. Reviewers edit, approve and post, or reject, with a discussion thread on every request.
  • TikTok. Connect a TikTok account and moderate its comments like any other.
  • Install Clarify. Add Clarify to your phone or desktop as an app, with push notifications for alerts.
  • AI top-up packs. Buy extra AI capacity when a busy month needs it, with reserve-aware usage bars.
  • Scheduled post alerts. You are told when a scheduled post fails to publish, and can retry it.

Improved

  • Classification. Comments are now judged in the context of their post, so a giveaway entry is not spam and an angry question is still a question. Threats are only threats aimed at your side.
  • Your time zone. Every timestamp is shown in the workspace's time zone, and activity charts bucket by local day.
  • Scan progress. A chip in the top bar shows a scan running and how many comments are classified so far.
  • Posts start filed. A post only rises into moderation when a comment on it needs attention.
  • Publishing Dash now covers your whole presence, not only the posts sent from Clarify.
  • Phones. Threat rows, the queue, the reviews page and settings all fit a phone screen.
v1.0.2

Auto-hide, mutes, organisations and the diary calendar

Safer moderation defaults, a way for headquarters to see across offices, and posting that starts from the MP's diary.

New

  • Auto-hide. Opt in to hiding high-confidence matches in the categories you choose. Every auto-hide lands in a review queue with one-click un-hide, nothing is deleted, and each one is logged.
  • Mute a commenter. Silence an account for a set time across every platform, with the reason kept on their record.
  • Organisations. A party or agency headquarters can register, invite member offices, and see across their workspaces, with each office approving or revoking access.
  • Diary calendar. Connect an Outlook diary and see events on the schedule as a lane above your posts. Draft a post from any event with one click, grounded by a web search if you want it.
  • Event media library. A OneDrive or SharePoint folder per event, so the photos from the day are ready in the composer.
  • AI quick draft. Type a topic, add a photo if you like, and get a draft in your voice to review.
  • First comment. Add a comment that posts under your own post the moment it publishes, drafted by AI if you want.
  • Tag accounts. Mention other accounts in a post and have the handles added to the caption when it goes out.
  • Coordination groups. Accounts that act together are now suggested automatically and can be grouped straight from triage.

Improved

  • Navigation. Hide the menu items you don't use in Settings → Navigation.
  • Reconnect alerts. When a Facebook or Instagram login lapses, Clarify repairs it where it can and tells you loudly when it can't.
  • Help in context. Every main page has a help button that opens the relevant guide beside your work.
v1.0.1

Instagram, scheduling, media listening and the help centre

Ten days after launch, Clarify stopped being Facebook-only and started posting as well as moderating.

New

  • Instagram. Connect an Instagram professional account alongside your Facebook Page and moderate its comments in the same queue, with the platform shown on every post and comment.
  • History when you connect. Clarify now reads back through your existing posts and comments when an account is connected, as far as your plan allows, with a review step first so you can choose what gets surfaced.
  • Scheduling. A calendar and a slide-over composer for posting to Facebook, Instagram, Threads and TikTok, with photos and video, a per-platform delivery log, duplicate as draft, and Rewrite in our voice with optional web search.
  • Publishing Dash. Engagement for every post on your accounts, not only the ones sent from Clarify, with AI topic insights.
  • Digital cards. A public link hub for each person in the office, prefilled from your connected accounts, with view counts.
  • Media listening. Watch terms across news sites and feeds, with a dashboard widget, unread badge and AI-suggested terms during onboarding.
  • Help centre. Every guide now lives at /help, searchable, with contextual help from inside the app.
  • Command palette. Press the shortcut and jump anywhere, including straight to a post or a story.

Improved

  • Instagram framing. Crop and preview an image for Instagram before it goes out.
  • Onboarding. Connect every social account in one step and set the workspace time zone.
  • Facebook links. Expired image links refresh on demand instead of showing a broken picture.
v1.0.0

Clarify's first release

The first production release of Clarify: a Facebook comment moderation suite built for the comms teams behind politicians and public figures, with a human signing off on every reply and hide.

New

  • AI comment classification. Every comment on a connected Facebook Page is read and sorted: abuse, misinformation, spam and bots, threats, and coordinated harassment.
  • Reply drafting in your voice. Suggested replies written the way your office writes, ready to edit and approve.
  • Threat Log. Serious comments in one place, with the evidence kept for you.
  • Account Tracker and coordination groups. Repeat accounts tracked over time, and groups of accounts acting together surfaced automatically.
  • Cases. Collect comments and accounts into a case and build a report for the platform or the police.
  • Workspaces and team members. Separate workspaces per office, with roles for who can approve, reply and change settings.
  • Plans and billing. Starter, Pro and Agency plans with a free trial, managed in Settings.
  • Help centre. Guides for every part of the product at /help.
