The Threat Log

The Threat Log is the permanent record of every comment classified as a threat, organised by the account that made it. Where the Social Stream is about working through today, the Threat Log is about the pattern over time.

The threat log, organised by the account that made each threat

How it's organised

Threats are grouped under the account responsible. An account with more than one threat gets a Repeat offender badge, and you can see at a glance how many threats they've made, how many are unreviewed, and when they were first and last seen. Accounts with unreviewed threats expand automatically when you open the page.

Reviewing a threat

Expand an account and you'll see each threat with its timestamp, the comment text, which post it was on, the AI's confidence and reasoning, and its current state (hidden, moderated). Then:

  • Click Review to mark it as seen by a person. This is what clears it from the dashboard's unreviewed count and unblocks post moderation.
  • Click Stream to jump to the comment in the Social Stream if you want to hide it or look at the surrounding conversation.
  • Made a mistake? Un-review puts it back.

Escalating

When an account's behaviour crosses the line from venting into something that needs formal attention, click Raise case on the account. This opens a case at Critical priority with the account attached, ready for evidence gathering on the case board.

The Account button takes you to the account's profile in the Account Tracker, where notes and history live.

When to involve authorities

Clarify helps you document, but judgement calls are yours. As a rule of thumb: a specific threat against a specific person, a stated time or place, or any mention of weapons should go to police immediately. Use the case report to hand over a clean, timestamped record.
